Small-scale dog walking service operating in Kralingen, Crooswijk and Oude Noorden
I adhere to what science and research has proven: Dogs learn best through pain-free and fear-free training. Dogs in my company will be rewarded for correct behaviour and never punished for unwanted behaviour. I reward good behaviour with affection and attention but also with food. I use Biological, high-protein treats so that each dog in my care can be sure when they are behaving appropriately.
I walk in groups of up to 4 and no more than 6 dogs. We visit enriching wooded areas such as the Kralingse Bos and Park Zestienhoven where dogs are permitted to be off leash. I like to work with fixed groups so the dogs build relationships and can learn to relax and enjoy being in the pack. Dogs that are accepted into a group must have strong social skills, cannot be reactive or aggressive to other dogs and show signs that they enjoy being in the company of other dogs. This is something we can discuss and I will assess during the free intake appointment.
Each dog has specific needs to ensure it lives a fulfilled and happy life. For some it's mental challenge, for others it's digging or retrieving, playing or stalking. And some need it all. Each walk will attempt to fulfil these innate needs.
